Teacher – Year 3

Job Description

Location: Handsworth, Birmingham

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner by negotiation)

Zest Education are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly motivated Year 3 Class Teacher to join our friendly and inclusive primary school community in Handsworth. The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire a love of learning.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Have high expectations of attainment, behaviour and achievement for all pupils.
  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience of teaching within Key Stage 2, preferably Year 3.
  • Demonstrates outstanding classroom practice or the potential to develop it.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Is committed to raising standards and enabling all children to succeed.
  • Values inclusion, equality and diversity.
  • Has a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to be part of a supportive team.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
