A rewarding opportunity has become available for a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join a specialist educational setting in Kidderminster with an immediate start available.

This Teaching Assistant role involves supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, helping them access education, develop confidence, and achieve their individual goals within a nurturing and structured environment. The successful Teaching Assistant will play a key role in creating positive learning experiences while supporting pupils both academically and socially.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, including autism and complex learning needs.
  • Assist in delivering personalised learning programmes and interventions.
  • Adapt learning resources and classroom activities to meet individual needs.
  • Support pupils with personal care where required.
  • Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and social development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
