Zest Education is thrilled to be partnering with a fantastic school in Hinckley, which offers outstanding facilities and a supportive working environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join this mixed SEND school on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.
As a Teaching Assistant at this esteemed school, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs. By working closely with the teaching staff, you will help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential. Your caring and compassionate nature will enable you to build strong relationships with the students, providing them with the support and guidance they require to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The school boasts exceptional facilities, including state-of-the-art classrooms, sensory rooms, and specialist equipment. This ensures that you will have access to the resources required to deliver outstanding educational support to the students. You will also benefit from ongoing professional development opportunities and a collaborative work environment, where your contributions and ideas will be valued.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working with students with special educational needs. A patient and empathetic approach, combined with excellent communication skills, will be essential in building rapport with the students and effectively supporting their individual needs. The ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from the teaching staff is also crucial.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
