Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support in line with the child’s EHCP and individual targets.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining positive routines and behavioural strategies.

  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCo, and external professionals.

  • Provide regular feedback to the team.

  • Create a calm, consistent, and encouraging learning environment.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning – essential.

  • Experience working with children with SEMH and/or ASD.

  • A caring, patient and consistent approach to behaviour and emotional needs.

  • Ability to build trust and strong relationships with children and staff.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a real difference to the life of a child who needs consistent, nurturing support.
