This exciting role is set to commence in September 2024 and will run for a minimum of 2 terms, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. The role will involve working across KS1 and KS2 as a general teaching assistant.

The school, which has recently received an ‘outstanding’ rating from Ofsted, boasts a warm and supportive environment, along with a dedicated team of hardworking, enthusiastic, and friendly staff. As a teaching assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the students’ learning journey and contribute to their overall development.

 Key Responsibilities:

– Collaborate closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons

– Provide one-on-one support to students, ensuring their individual needs are met

– Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment

– Support students with their social and emotional well-being

– Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities and events

Requirements:

– Previous experience as a teaching assistant or related role

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational growth

– Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students

– Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of the students

– Relevant qualifications in education or child development (desirable)

The pay for this role will range from £75 to £85 a day dependent on references and experience.
