Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH)? Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a special educational needs school in Rugby, starting November 2024. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with students aged 5-16, providing crucial support to help them develop essential skills for their future.

As a Teaching Assistant at our school, you will play a vital role in supporting students both academically and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include working with individuals and small groups, assisting with classroom activities, and fostering independence among students whenever possible. We welcome applications from Teaching Assistants, support workers, and individuals with relevant experience in supporting individuals with special educational needs.

The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience working with individuals with special educational needs or in a similar educational setting. The ability to adapt to different age groups and classrooms, along with strong communication skills, will be essential for success in this role. Working collaboratively with the class teacher and fellow Teaching Assistants, you will contribute to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for our students.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
