Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Zest Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join an Outstanding SEN school in Twickenham. The role is starting after half term and will be until July 2026 initially, on a full time basis.

About the Role

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and flexible Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team.

  • Monday to Friday – 08:30-16:00pm term time only
  • Supporting pupils in class with Speech and Language difficulties

  • Encouraging positive communication and social interaction

  • Assisting with classroom organisation and learning resources

  • Helping maintain a calm, safe and stimulating environment

  • Supporting pupils during transitions, playtimes and activities

  • Promoting inclusion and independence at every opportunity

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
