Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? Zest is currently recruiting on behalf of a special educational needs school in the Derby area seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Full-Time Teaching Assistant.
Responsibilities:
– Support students with special educational needs in their learning and development
– Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational programs
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
– Provide one-on-one support to students as needed
– Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being and progress of students
Requirements:
– Previous experience working in a special educational needs environment is essential
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
