We are currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school in the Loughborough area that is dedicated to providing a positive and nurturing environment for its students. The school prides itself on fostering harmonious relationships and creating a supportive atmosphere for both students and staff.
As a full-time Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education to primary school students. You will work closely with students to provide academic and emotional support, assist with classroom management, and help create a positive learning environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Supporting the classroom teacher in lesson planning and delivery
– Providing one-on-one or small group support to students
– Assisting with classroom activities and projects
– Helping to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
– Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
**Requirements:**
– Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred
– A passion for working with young people and supporting their development
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
– Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
