Zest Education is on the hunt for a full time Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school in Rugeley.

This role is due to start in March 2025 for at least one year. The working hours will be: Monday – Friday – 8.30am – 3.30pm.

The school are looking to appoint an experienced and qualified Teaching Assistant to join their hardworking and dedicated team.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated teaching assistant who has experience of and a passion for working with children.

The role will be mixed, with some time providing general learning support in the classroom and other allocated time working with groups and individuals to support SEND. Experience and an interest in supporting children’s emotional and SEND needs would be advantageous. If appointed, you will work alongside a dedicated team of teachers and other practitioners to develop and deliver an appropriate curriculum in line with children’s needs. Your knowledge and experience of supporting children will be fundamental to ensure the pupils you support are nurtured, motivated, encouraged to learn and achieve goals socially and academically.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
