Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Turves Green | Support High-Needs Pupils | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Are you a confident, resilient, and compassionate individual looking to make a real difference in education? Zest Education is currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex and high-level needs in a primary school in the Turves Green area.

This is a temporary-to-permanent role, offering a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to build a long-term career in a supportive and rewarding environment.

About the Role:

This is not a traditional classroom-based role. Instead, you’ll work flexibly across the school, providing targeted support to children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including:

  • Autism (ASD)
  • ADHD
  • Dyslexia and Dyspraxia
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)

You’ll work both one-on-one and in small groups, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and develop essential life skills. Your role will be pivotal in creating an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
