Teaching Assistant (KS1) – Mornings Only | Long-Term Role

Location: Selly Oak, Birmingham
Hours: 9:00am – 12:00pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Long-term


Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with an NVQ Level 3 qualification?
Zest Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Selly Oak, Birmingham for a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who thrives in a supportive environment and is passionate about helping young learners succeed.


🕐The Role

  • Hours: Mornings only (9am – 12pm), five days per week
  • Key Stage: KS1
  • Start: Imminent, continuing long-term
  • Responsibilities:
    • Provide tailored support to pupils in a KS1 classroom
    • Assist with small group work and one-to-one interventions
    • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning experiences
    • Adapt to the needs of individual learners and promote positive behaviour

  • Teaching Assistant NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
