Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Bournville – February 2026 Start | Supportive Primary School Environment

Zest Education is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic primary school in Bournville from February 2026 onwards. This is a full-time position offering the chance to work closely with experienced teachers in a supportive, friendly, and collaborative school community.


About the Role

As a full-time Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning and development across a range of year groups. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting teachers in the delivery of engaging, high‑quality lessons.
  • Providing one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils who may need additional guidance.
  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Supporting the implementation of the school’s curriculum with confidence and initiative.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure every child is given the opportunity to thrive.

This school is well known for its warm ethos, strong leadership, and commitment to nurturing every child’s academic and personal growth.  This role will also involve supporting children with additional needs, including providing tailored one‑to‑one assistance where required to help them fully engage in their learning.


The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about education and committed to supporting young learners.
  • Has excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Possesses strong curriculum knowledge and can work proactively within the classroom.
  • Has previous experience working in a school setting or supporting children (essential).
  • Can work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.

A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to help children succeed are essential qualities for this role.
