About the Role

Zest Education is recruiting enthusiastic and supportive Teaching Assistants (TAs) to work across a number of secondary schools in Stourbridge and the surrounding areas.

Local schools are looking for reliable, proactive individuals who are passionate about helping young people succeed in the classroom. Whether you have experience in education or are looking to gain valuable school‑based experience for the first time, this role offers an excellent opportunity to make a real impact across a variety of settings.

What You Will Do

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students during lessons and help maintain engagement
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours
  • Assist with preparing and organising classroom resources
  • Provide 1:1 or small‑group support depending on the school’s needs
  • Adapt quickly to different classrooms, teaching styles, and routines

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking individuals who are:

  • Friendly, confident, and approachable
  • Able to adapt across subjects and different year groups
  • Strong communicators with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Motivated, proactive, and passionate about supporting young people

To be suitable for this role, you must have one of the following:

🎓 NVQ Level 2 or above in a relevant subject
OR
📅 At least 20 days’ experience supporting children or young people within the last two years
