Multiple Teaching Assistant Roles Available at Zest Education in Staffordshire!

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of students with special educational needs? Zest Education is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Teaching Assistant to work within special educational needs schools across Staffordshire.

We have a variety of full-time and part-time positions available for immediate starts as well as for September 2024. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, providing crucial support to help them thrive in their learning environment.

To be successful in this role, you must have relevant qualifications or experience working with SEND students or in a similar setting, such as a care or support work background. We are looking for individuals who are resilient, confident in behaviour management, and able to establish warm and supportive relationships with students to create a safe and nurturing learning environment.

In addition, you will play a key role in promoting independence and personal development in students while maintaining high expectations of behaviour at all times. It is essential that you are able to provide reference details covering the last two years in full and hold a valid DBS on the update service, or be willing to undergo the necessary checks.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
