Year 1 Class Teacher – Full-Time Role Starting Easter 2026

Location: Harborne
Contract: Full-Time | Potential to continue into September 2026

Your Role

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports every child’s development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and uphold the school’s strong ethos.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies for a safe, productive learning space.
  • Track and report pupil progress, maintaining clear communication with parents and stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Experience of teaching Year 1 – desirable but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
