Zest Education is currently working with a lovely school in the Kingswinford area, who is seeking a talented Year 2 Teacher to join their team on an ongoing basis, starting from December 2024. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
As a Year 2 Teacher at this esteemed school, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced and dedicated staff members who are committed to providing a creative and comprehensive curriculum to all students. Key Responsibilities:
– Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to Year 2 students
– Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
– Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback and support when needed
– Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
– Building strong relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff members
– Participating in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
– Experience teaching in a similar role, preferably within Key Stage 1
– Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment techniques
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and engage students in their learning
– Passion for providing quality education and fostering a love for learning

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
