Zest Education is looking for a dynamic Year 2 Teacher to join a team of dedicated staff at a wonderful school in Lichfield. As a Year 2 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate students during a crucial stage of their academic journey.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons to year 2 students. You will work Monday to Friday, from March 2025 until May 2025, providing a supportive and nurturing learning environment for your students.

To be successful within this position you must:
– Hold a valid teaching certification
– Experience teaching Key stage 1 curriculum
– Strong classroom management skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners

As a year 2 teacher, you play a crucial role in shaping the academic and personal development of your students.  In addition to delivering the curriculum, you must create a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity. You also work closely with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and collaboration in supporting the students’ learning journey. Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and offering individualized support are integral parts of your role as a year 2 teacher.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
