Zest is working with a lovely primary school in Hodge Hill who are recruiting for a year 3 teacher to work 4 days a week of their choice. The role is due to start in October 2024 and is covering maternity.

The three-form entry primary have a strong focus on working with parents and the community to offer a range of experiences and support for all pupils in a friendly, safe environment. The school have a strong focus on ensuring all children go on to be life-long learners and respectful members within their community.

The school also offer professional growth and development for all staff.

The successful candidate must:

  • Promote positive learning behaviours across the class
  • Effectively use ongoing support and progress checks to enable children to achieve.
  • Work efficiently as part of a team.
  • Hold a valid QTS.

The role will involve planning which you will be given the PPA time each week to ensure this is completed. You must also complete all marking.

The pay for this role will range between £140 to £212 a day dependent on references and experience. Both ECT’s and experienced teachers are advised to apply for this role.
