Year 3 Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Zest education is working with Primary School in Castle Vale who is seeking a dedicated full-time Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher, creating a positive learning environment, and helping students reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:
– Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons for Year 3 students
– Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help
– Help with classroom management and student behaviour
– Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required
– Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure the best educational outcomes for students

Requirements:
– Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning journey
– Relevant qualification in education or child development is desirable
– Ability to start as soon as possible

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
