Full-Time Year 4 Teacher – Kings Heath, South Birmingham

Start Date: ASAP / Early 2026
Contract: Full-time, ongoing until Summer 2026

Zest Education is proud to be working with a warm and welcoming primary school located in the heart of Kings Heath, South Birmingham. The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, continuing through to July 2026.

About the Role

This is a full class responsibility position, meaning the successful candidate will:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum
  • Take responsibility for assessment, marking, and tracking pupil progress
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with the Key Stage 2 team to ensure continuity and high standards
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues
  • Contribute fully to school life, values, and initiatives

You will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking school with a strong focus on pupil well‑being, high expectations, and a positive community ethos.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
  • Are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills
  • Have a passion for supporting all pupils to achieve their potential
