Year 4 Teacher – Year 4 (Full-Time)

Start Date: April 2026 – July 2026

Zest Education is seeking a Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming school in Selly Oak. This full-time position will involve teaching a Year 4 class starting after the Easter break and continuing till the end of the academic year. This role gives you the opportunity to build a long-lasting relationship with a fantastic school.

Key Responsibilities of a Year 4 Teacher:

• Plan and deliver creative, high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support pupils in developing their skills and knowledge across key subject areas.
• Implement positive behaviour management strategies in line with school policy.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff about pupil progress.

Requirements for the Year 4 Teacher Role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Proven teaching experience based within a classroom environment.
• Strong understanding of the curriculum and effective teaching practices.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
• An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
