Are you a talented and passionate teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Year 6 students? Zest Education are currently seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a team at a school in Burton-on-Trent on a 3 days a week basis from May 2024 on a ongoing basis into the new academic year.
The school pride themselves on offering a creative curriculum that nurtures the potential of every student. As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing our students with the best educational opportunities and preparing them for their transition to secondary school. The school are able to offer a supportive and collaborative working environment where professional growth is encouraged. The school also values the well-being of both students and staff, and provide regular opportunities for continued professional development.
Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school’s creative curriculum
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborate with a team of dedicated staff to ensure students’ holistic development
– Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues
Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status with experience in teaching Year 6 students
– Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment methods
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to inspire and motivate students
– A commitment to fostering a love of learning and promoting pupil well-being
The school are open to applicants from both ECTs and more experienced teachers.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
