Job Description

Are you a talented and passionate teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Year 6 students? Zest Education are currently seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a team at a school in Burton-on-Trent on a 3 days a week basis from May 2024 on a ongoing basis into the new academic year.

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing our students with the best educational opportunities and preparing them for their transition to secondary school. Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school’s creative curriculum
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborate with a team of dedicated staff to ensure students’ holistic development
– Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues

Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status with experience in teaching Year 6 students
– Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment methods
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to inspire and motivate students
– A commitment to fostering a love of learning and promoting pupil well-being

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
