Zest Education is recruiting a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school based in Selly Oak, starting in May. This part-time position (3 days per week) offers the perfect work/life balance.

As a Year 6 Teacher, you’ll play a key role in preparing pupils for the transition to secondary school, ensuring they achieve their full potential in a supportive and stimulating environment.
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Evaluate, document, and report on pupils’ progress, achievement, and development.
Create a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic success.
Establish strong relationships with parents, governors, colleagues, and pupils.
Promote high standards of behaviour and learning in line with school expectations.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Have an enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
A secure understanding of the National Curriculum, particularly for Key Stage 2.
Relevant experience working with children
A positive attitude, strong classroom management, and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
