Job Description

Zest Education has a close working relationship with a primary school in Burntwood who need a full time Year 1 teacher from November 2023.

This full time position is to cover a long-term maternity leave and the school is looking to support a passionate and hardworking ECT through part of their induction.

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold valid QTS.
  • Have a positive work ethic and attitude.
  • Have a solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Be able to engage and inspire a broad range of pupils.
  • Have previous experience with strong academic results.

About the role:

  • Planning and resourcing for your own engaging lessons.
  • Working within a fast paced, challenging, and positive learning environment.
  • PPA time and specified time with your mentor.
  • Full time role, Monday – Friday.
  • Competitive rate of pay (term time only).

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
