Zest Education are recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in a brilliant special educational needs school located in Wolverhampton. We’re ideally looking to appoint a teaching assistant to start as soon as possible. The role will be working across all age groups and will continue for a minimum of 6 months.
This school caters for children from the age of four to fifteen with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). Due to the needs of the learners, the ideal candidate will have experience within the care sector or supporting individuals with special educational needs.
The team here work hard to maintain a supportive and inclusive ethos across all areas of the school and put the children at the heart of what they do. You will be required to support the students to improve their engagement in learning, remove barriers to learning, improve attainment and promote their self-confidence and emotional well-being. You will be working with the students in small groups and individually, so it is important that you have a flexible approach.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
