Zest are recruiting for a long-term position working 1 day a week covering a Y1 class in Redditch. The position will be every Monday covering leadership time and full planning will be provided. The class consists of 24 children who need a teacher who can quickly engage with them and who has a firm but fair approach. You will need to have clear boundaries but also ensure the class are learning to their full potential.
The school itself is a wonderful one-form entry which benefits from excellent on-site facilities (including ample on-site parking) and a supportive SLT. The staff here work well as a team to collaborate effectively by providing a secure and inspiring learning environment for all. The staff put the children at the heart of all they do and ensure that their ethos of inclusivity and equality is apparent throughout the school.
This position is long term, starting as soon as possible, until Christmas 2023 and will potentially be extended further for the right person.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
