Zest Education are working with a primary school in Handsworth to recruit a Year 2 teacher to start in September. This position is maternity cover, so will continue through to summer 2023.
The school is a large three form entry primary school which caters for a broad range of pupils as well as having a high number of EAL students. The school also has a strong focus on equality and inclusion and all staff aim to provide all pupils with essential life skills.

Both newly qualified teachers/early careers teachers (NQT/ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this position.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
