Zest Education is proud to be working alongside a Primary special educational needs school based in Rugeley that requires a full-time Classroom Support Assistant. This position is commencing after Easter half term and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year. There is a possibility that the role could become permanent if the right candidate is found. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 15:30.
This school caters for children from the age of five to eleven with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). Due to the needs of the learners, the ideal candidate will have experience of supporting individuals with special educational needs (SEND).
The team here work hard to maintain a supportive and inclusive ethos across all areas of the school and put the children at the heart of what they do. The role involves supporting the children with their learning, development, and progress in all areas of the curriculum within a range of learning context including the classroom, local environment and within the community.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
