Zest Education is currently recruiting for a part time classroom assistant position at a primary school in Cannock. The role is due to start ASAP for the ideal candidate and will be for at least one term.

As a teaching assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in small groups as well as provide one-on-one support to students, aiding in their educational development. Your main responsibility will be to support the class teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for the students.

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in childcare or above. Experience working with Key Stage 2 students is also essential, as you will be assisting in the educational journey of these young learners.

The working days for this position are Wednesday to Friday, allowing for a flexible schedule that can accommodate other commitments. This part time role offers a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities:
– Working in small groups and providing one-on-one support to students
– Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons
– Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the class teacher
– Supporting students with additional needs

Requirements:
– A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in childcare or above
– Experience working with Key Stage 2 students
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children
– Strong organizational and time management skills
