Are you passionate about shaping young minds and making a positive impact on their educational journey? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Year 1 Teacher at a lovely school in Rugeley.

Starting in January 2024, this full-time position will allow you to work closely with a team of dedicated staff who are committed to providing a creative and diverse education for our students. As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the academic and personal development of the students until at least the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum for Year 1 students.
– Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged.
– Monitor and track the progress of students, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their growth.
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
– Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child’s progress and any areas of concern.
– Take an active role in the wider school community, including participating in extracurricular activities and events.

Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status (QTS) and experience teaching in Year 1 or Key Stage 1.
– Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and a strong understanding of child development.
– Ability to create engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
– A passion for continuous professional development and a willingness to embrace new teaching strategies and technologies.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
