We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in a special educational needs school located in Stourbridge. This position will be starting after the Easter half term and will be continue on a long-term basis into the new academic year. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 15:30.
This school caters for children from the age of three to fourteen providing high-quality education to children with complex needs, severe learning difficulties, including autism, and children with profound and multiple learning difficulties. The team here work hard to maintain a supportive and inclusive ethos across all areas of the school and put the children at the heart of what they do.
The ideal candidate will be resilient, patient, and confident when presented with challenging behaviours. Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they are adaptable to each child’s educational needs in order to build positive relationships. This role will require you to work within small groups and on a 1:1 basis supporting with all areas of the curriculum.
