Zest Education is currently recruiting for a full-time 2:1 Teaching Assistant position at a primary school in Lichfield.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with children in Year 1, providing them with the additional support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

As a 2:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in aiding children who require extra assistance within the classroom. Your expertise and experience working with children on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis will be invaluable in ensuring their individual needs are met effectively. Moreover, having a Level 2 or above qualification in childcare will demonstrate your knowledge and ability to provide high-quality care and education.

Starting in January, this full-time position will allow you to build strong relationships with the students and work collaboratively with the teaching staff to create a nurturing learning environment. Your responsibilities will include offering one-on-one support to students, aiding them in their academic tasks, and assisting with their personal development throughout the day.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for education. You should be able to adapt to different learning styles and have a compassionate approach to supporting children with diverse needs. Additionally, having a positive and nurturing demeanor will contribute to fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
