Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for a part-time opportunity? Zest Education is currently recruiting for a part-time PPA teacher to join a reputable school in Kings Heath from January 2024.
As a PPA teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the school’s leadership team by covering PPA and leadership time across the entire school. This exciting position will require you to work every Tuesday and Wednesday, providing a consistent and reliable presence for the children.
The school itself is a fantastic 2-form entry primary school that has been serving the local community for many years. With a good Ofsted rating, it prides itself on creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all pupils who attend here. Joining this school will provide you with an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.
Initially, the position will run from January until May half term. However, there is a possibility of it being extended until the end of July 2024. This offers stability and the chance to establish yourself within the school community.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have valid UK QTS and have experience working in a primary school setting. You must be confident in delivering engaging lessons and be able to adapt to different learning styles. Additionally, strong organisational and communication skills are essential to effectively adapt to the school’s existing curriculum.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
