PPA teacher

Job Description

Are you an experienced teacher looking for a part-time position? Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to work one day a week covering PPA across KS1 and KS2 every Thursday, starting from February half term.

We are seeking an individual with a natural teaching ability and a proactive attitude for a school in Quinton. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working within a similar role and will be able to demonstrate their adaptability in teaching methods. You will also need to be an excellent team player and communicate effectively with the KS1 and KS2 teams when required.

Located in Quinton, Birmingham, the school is a fantastic one-form entry school that is committed to providing all children with a first-class education and the motivation to succeed. Key Responsibilities:
– Cover PPA across KS1 and KS2 every Thursday, starting from February half term
– Demonstrate adaptability in teaching methods to cater to the needs of different pupils
– Liaise effectively with the KS1 and KS2 teams when required
– Create a positive and engaging learning environment
– Promote a love for learning and inspire children to reach their full potential

Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status (valid UK QTS)
– Previous experience teaching in primary schools
– Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
