Full time teaching assistant

Job Description

Are you passionate about education and looking for a rewarding role in a school? Zest Education is currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant position in Bromsgrove to start asap.

As the class Teaching Assistant, you will be working in the reception class, supporting the class teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for the children. The role will require you to work Monday to Friday, ensuring that you are available to provide consistent support throughout the school week.

To be successful in this role, you must be NVQ Level 3 qualified (or above) and possess a strong work ethic with a genuine passion for education. A good understanding of the national curriculum will be essential to effectively assist the class teacher in preparing resources and lesson plans. You will also need to have a solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum, as you will be working closely with young children.

In this role, you will be supporting children across the class with core subjects and reading. This will involve working in both small groups and on a one-to-one basis, providing individual support to help each pupil to reach their full potential. Your dedication and commitment to the progress  of the class will play a vital role in their educational journey.

Please note that only applicants who are Level 3 qualified, or above, will be considered for this role. It would be advantageous to have your own transport also.
The role will be full time starting asap and continuing for a minimum of 6 months.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
