Zest Education are working with a wonderful special educational needs school located in Burton-on-Trent that are looking for multiple Teaching Assistants to strengthen their team on a long term to permanent basis. The successful candidates must have previous experience working with SEND or in a similar environment.
The school itself caters for children from the age of six to seventeen with a wide range of educational difficulties ranging from moderate to severe and complex needs; some of the pupils have additional physical, sensory, and autistic conditions. It is important that you are confident, enthusiastic, and able to identify and engage with different learning needs.
The successful candidate must be a proactive and engaging individual who has proven experience of having strong behaviour management skills and working across a range of age groups. You will be required to work alongside the class teacher, preparing learning resources and maintaining the classroom to a high standard.
