Teacher of PE

Job Description

Zest Education are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of PE to join an excellent secondary school in the Harborne area. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering practical lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. This is a full-time role due to commence in September 2025. The role is expected to run for one term.

Key Responsibilities:

– Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive practical PE lessons for students
– Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their development
– Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive PE curriculum
– Support extra-curricular sports activities and events
– Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physical Education
– Experience teaching PE across KS3 and KS4
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to plan and deliver creative and effective lessons
– Commitment to promoting physical fitness and well-being among students
