Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, is proud to partner with a great school in Halesowen to find a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This position is part-time and will run until the end of the academic year, providing a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young minds in a welcoming school environment.
The school, known for its supportive ethos and commitment to nurturing the potential of every child, offers a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Located in Halesowen, the school provides onsite parking for convenience, ensuring a stress-free commute for staff members.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Supporting the Early Years teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons and activities
– Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning activities
– Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help
– Creating a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
– Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
– Collaborating with colleagues to create a cohesive and effective learning environment

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
