Zest Education are an award-winning education agency and are currently working closely with a lovely school in Halesowen to find a dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher. The position is part-time, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year. The school offers onsite parking for convenience.

You will be required to:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the varying needs of Year 2 students
– Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning
– Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support student behaviour
– Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents
– Collaborate with colleagues to plan integrated units of work and share best practices
– Hold appropriate qualifications and experience in primary education
– Possess excellent communication skills and a passion for inspiring young minds
The successful candidate will have to have an enhanced DBS that is on the update service or be willing to obtain one. You will also be required to have experience within a relevant setting within the similar age groups. Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
