We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years Practioner who is looking for a new challenge.

Zest Education is partnering with a charming school in Burntwood in search of a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team on a 0.8 FTE basis. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a nurturing educational environment, supporting young learners in their formative years.

This popular 4-11 primary school is full of extremely committed staff who work in harmony with each other, the wider community, and parents/carers to ensure that the children are receiving the best possible education to support them throughout primary school and beyond.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will work collaboratively with experienced educators to create a stimulating and inclusive learning atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the implementation of engaging activities, providing one-to-one support to students, and contributing to the children’s overall development and well-being.

The school are looking for a experienced early years practitioner to join their team or experience in a similiar setting. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for working with young children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with both students and colleagues.

Pay will depend on experience and references and will be £75 a day.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
