Full Time KS1 Class Teacher

Zest Education is working with a reputable school in Sutton Coldfield who are looking to recruit an experienced class teacher for a KS1 class to start in September 2024 on a fulltime basis.

The school’s main aim is to provide children with a safe environment in which they can learn and thrive. Their bold and ambitious curriculum consists of a love of learning and allows the children to grow into inquisitive learners and out of the box thinkers.

The successful candidate will be someone who is passionate about KS1 and is confident in their phonics teaching.

You will be expected to:

• Employ a range of suitable teaching and learning strategies and styles to ensure effective learning for all pupils.
• Produce engaging lessons for the class.
• Participate in some staff meetings for continual professional development opportunities.
• Communicate to the children’s parents about their progress.
• Maintain in the highest regard safeguarding and well-being of all pupils.

Safe, off-road parking is available on-site for anyone who requires this.

Both experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply for this position of KS1 class teacher.

Pay will start from £150 per day based on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
