Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant

Zest Education are delighted to partner with a lovely primary school in Oldbury who are in search for a passionate Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to complement their dedicated team. This full-time position spans from October 2024 to April 2024, offering a rewarding opportunity to work Monday to Friday in a supportive educational environment.

Requirements for the position include a relevant qualification in education or childcare, a demonstrable ability to engage and support young learners, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and students. The school are looking for a candidate who has prior experience working within a primary school setting preferably with Key stage 1 students with a passionate and dedicated attitude to education to adhere with the schools ethos.

As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons, providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help, and creating a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere. Additionally, the role involves helping with classroom preparation, supervising activities, and fostering a safe and nurturing environment for all students.

Pay will begin from £77.00 per day and will depend on experience and references.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
