Zest Education is pleased to collaborate with a wonderful school in Oldbury in their search for a dedicated Early Years Teacher to join their team. This part-time position, spanning 3 days a week from November 2024 through the end of the summer term, presents a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners. This part time position allows the successful candidate to achieve a desirable work life balance.
In the centre of Oldbury lies a wonderful primary school that stands out for its academic excellence and community spirit. This school is part of an academy trust that prides itself on providing a nurturing environment where students can thrive and reach their full potential. The primary school, with its two forms, offers small class sizes that allow for personalised attention and tailored learning experiences.
The responsibilities of a EYFS Teacher include creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can learn through play. Th role requires the successful candidate to design and implement a curriculum that promotes holistic development, covering areas such as communication, language, physical development, personal, social, and emotional development, and more. The role requires the successful candidate to also work closely with parents and other members of staff to provide feedback on children’s development and offer guidance on how to support outside of the school.
To be successful within this position you must:
– Qualified Early Years Teacher
– Experience working with the EYFS curriculum
– Passion for early childhood education
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to create engaging and inclusive lesson plans
The school are open to applications from both Early career and experienced teachers.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
