Zest Education is currently looking to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Tamworth. The successful candidate will be working with Year 2 pupils and will primarily support 2 EHCP students on a 2:1 basis.
Position: Part-Time Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School in Tamworth
Age Group: Year 2
Hours: 4 days per week (Days to be decided)
Responsibilities:
– Provide 1:1 and 2:1 support to EHCP pupils
– Assist in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborate with the teaching staff to ensure the students’ needs are met
– Support the pupils with their academic and social development
– Supervise and engage with the students during break times
Requirements:
– Previous experience in supporting 1:1 and 2:1 settings
– Kind, caring, and nurturing approach towards students
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
