Zest Education is working in close partnership with a special educational needs school located in Perry Common, Birmingham. The school are looking to appoint a full-time Classroom Support Assistant to start October 2022 and will continue on a long-term basis into the new academic year.
The school caters for students from the age of five to seventeen with additional difficulties including sensory impairment, learning difficulties, communication difficulties or complex medical conditions. The ideal candidate must have experience supporting individuals with special educational needs or experience in a care environment.
The successful Classroom Support Assistant must have a clear motivation for working with young people with complex needs. You must be able to work well within a team, be able to organise and plan a workload, communicate effectively, and be prepared to work with varying types of difficulties.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
