Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Intervention Teacher looking for a part-time role in the education sector? Zest Education, an acclaimed education recruitment agency, is currently seeking a dedicated teacher to join a vibrant school in the Kings Norton area.
As an intervention teacher you will have the opportunity to work closely with KS2 pupils, providing tailored support to help them achieve their academic goals. This part-time position requires you to work 2 days a week (0.4) from the end of February half term until July 2025, with potential for extension into September 2025 for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of the national curriculum, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for education and a proactive work approach. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
