Female PE Teacher

Zest Education have the privilege of working closely with a school based in Staffordshire who are looking to recruit an experienced Female PE teacher to start ASAP. Currently, this role is a full-time position for a minimum of one term but may be extended for the right candidate.

The school is a ‘Good’ OFSTED-rated school looking for a motivated and determined individual to join the wider PE department. The successful candidate will be motivated and creative with the ability to plan adaptable lessons depending on the weather and the space available to them. A female is required in this role due to changing room supervision.

A successful candidate will have the following:

• A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
• A Passion for sport and the subject of PE with exceptional knowledge across the KS3 and KS4 curriculum (KS5 not essential but would be advantageous)
• Desire to work as part of the larger PE department
• The ability to get involved with any extracurricular PE clubs and activities as and when needed

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
