Zest Education are working with a secondary school in the Handsworth area, who are looking for a music teacher to join their music department. This is a full time role for one academic year starting in September 2022.

The music curriculum enables students to develop fundamental music skills on a variety of instruments, all through the practical engagement and experiencing of music, developing students’ natural musical instincts. The curriculum also allows students to develop awareness of culture, history, and development of music overtime as well as music technology. As well as this, students develop performance skills and listening skills, learning the importance of performance, how to engage an audience as well as how to critically analyse their own and others performances.
The successful candidate must have:
Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
