Are you looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with additional needs? Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate part-time Teaching Assistant to join a warm and supportive junior and infants school in Redditch.
As a Teaching Assistant at this wonderful school, you will play a crucial role in supporting students across KS1 who require assistance with ADHD, Autism, and global delay. Your responsibilities will include working with small groups of children, providing individualised support, and ensuring that each child’s learning needs are met in a patient and empathetic manner.
In addition to supporting pupils, you will be involved in general TA duties such as lesson preparations, assisting with reports, and supervising lunchtime activities. This part-time role will require your commitment on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, starting immediately and running until the end of the academic year.
To be successful in this role, you must hold a Level 3 qualification or above and ideally have previous experience working with children with additional needs. A solid understanding of the national curriculum is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
Given the school’s location, having access to your own transport would be advantageous to ensure timely attendance. If you are passionate about education and are eager to make a positive impact in the lives of students, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity!
